1. Make sure rubber hose washer is placed in unit.
2. Screw onto standard garden hose, tightly.
3. Attach garden hose to any household cold water faucet.
4. Locate nearest cleanout to clog and remove cover. Be very careful because standing water may be present and come out when removing cap.
5. Push unit into clogged water pipe at cleanout.
6. Slide into pipe about 1 foot.
7. Have someone turn on the water.
8. Unit will pull itself in pipe (You may push gently to help it).
9. When it hits the clog, it will cut through it, and you will see and hear the standing water in the pipe suddenly go down.
10. Slide the hose in an additional foot further slowly and then pull hose back. Your done.
11. Have someone turn off water before device gets to cleanout.
12. Replace cleanout cover.
13. Clean with warm water and store for future use.
