Here is a MUST have tool for Network Administrators.

Pocket Sniffer is small enough to fit in your pocket so you will have with you when you need it.

Just what is a Pocket Sniffer?
A Pocket Sniffer is a modified 10 Base T (MAU) that runs on a single 9volt battery.

What does it do?
When you plug a CAT5 or CAT6 Network cable it  will show you if it sees a HUB, SWITCH or other Network Device.
An example is if you have an office with a bunch of network outlets and you need to know which ones are connected (HOT) to a switch and which ones are not.

This is the back of the Sniffer.
It uses a single 9v battery. (Not Included). Attaches with Velcro

Note: There is a 2 second delay when you first plug in the wire while it check for a link.

Also note: Ethernet wire plugs in on left side of unit. (Ethernet cable not included)
